Minister of Home Affairs ChileRodrigo Delgado announced this Wednesday the release of four Venezuelan immigrants arrested after attacking police officers involved in operations on the Igua Sea in the north of the country.
“We are not going to allow our police to be disrespected, we are not going to allow such attacks on the police.”Delcado noted.

“This move is part of a strategy we already have in the Tarabakka region in recent months, and it has allowed smuggling and micro-smuggling gangs and organized crime to be disrupted.”The Minister pointed out.
“I have given precise instructions to the Presidential Representative in Tarabaga to initiate action to expel these four. Those arrested for assaulting carbineros (…). They will be expelled in the same way, whether they have faith or not. ”He added.
For his part, the country’s elected president, Gabriel BorickCondemned what happened in the attack and posted a message on his social media sites.
“Everywhere you look today, the tide of protectionist sentiment is flowing. We discussed with the Director General that the police should be more efficient in making complaints and take the streets away from crime and drug trafficking with social activities.He said.
